First Lady Sherri Edwards-Heath has been in the Church of God in Christ all of her life. She grew up at Bailey Temple COGIC. Her father, The Late, Supt. Nick S. Edwards, was appointed pastor of the New Testament COGIC, where she worshipped until her music ministry opportunities began to prosper.
Sherri is the Secretary for the Women’s Department of Michigan, Southwest First Jurisdiction, Church Secretary, Praise & Worship singer at the Second Ebenezer Church, First Lady of Second Chance Christian Ministries COGIC, and is an anointed soloist and speaker.
Sherri started singing when she was nine years old. She has a unique style blended with rich overtones of Gospel which complement the skill, range, and control of an accomplished vocalist.
