Our community outreach and support at Second Chance Christian Church is our priority. Helping the people in our community is a part of the soul of our church and our congregation members. Giving is living…. And we want to do whatever we can to improve the lives of the people in our community. It’s no secret Detroiters have gone through a lot over the years and it’s part of our mission to help rebuild confidence and provide support to our neighbors.
Through the generosity of our members, admirers and supporters both locally and nationally we are able to do God’s work in our little corner of the world. We’ve been fortunate to be able to provide supplies to fight Covid-19 in the form of masks, gloves, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizers and an amazing amount of household goods. All that is in-addition to the food that we have provided to our community and congregation through our food drives and various donations.
